Who, Why, & How
My name is Michael Koutsoumbaris and I am a full time Firefighter/Paramedic with Pasco County Fire Rescue. I am married to my amazing wife, Carlee, and we have two beautiful girls, Sofia and Katerina. Carlee loves being a stay at home mom, but it’s difficult to make ends meet on a single income. While my love of being a firefighter is above all, having 20+ days off a month leaves enough time for me to make use of my passion for detailing cars.
Ever since my Yiayia and Papou bought me my first car ten years ago, I have made a hobby of detailing my own car and those of my family, to keep them in pristine condition. With the support of my Yiayia and Papou, in November of 2022 Pegasus Mobile Detailing was created.
In addition to making my business grow and flourish, it is important to me to help people with their car detailing needs. Sadly, within the same month of opening my business, the two people that meant the most to me in my lifetime passed away. During Yiayia’s fight with Alzheimer’s and Papou’s struggle with cancer, there was so little I could to do help them. The one thing that I was able to do to make them happy, was talk about the business I was building. To honor their memory in a way that gives back to the community as my grandparents always did, Carlee and I decided to gift a family struggling with cancer with a detailing package free of charge every month. Hoping to brighten up their day, together we can help one another the Pegasus way.
